Luray Caverns, Virginia

Luray Caverns is the largest caverns in the eastern United States, yet walking through feels more akin to an unearthly experience.
Visit Geology’s Hall of Fame. Tours along lighted, paved walkways lead visitors through cathedral-sized rooms with ceilings 10-stories high, towering stone formations, and natural wonders at every turn.
There is also a Car & Carriage Caravan Museum with over 75 historic vehicles.
The airport, KLUA, has a 3,126’ runway with instrument approaches and fuel.
The caverns is less than 1 mile from the airport on a country road. There is food on site and fast food restaurants adjacent. The friendly FBO has a crew car for anybody not into walking.
Virginia has no quarantine or COVID testing requirements for visitors. Wear a mask.
